Schools Environmental Awareness Fundraiser
Green Genie has launched an exciting fundraising project while at the same time helping to reduce our carbon footprint by recycling all organic wet waste. Wet waste comprises grass cuttings, used tea bags, coffee grinds, vegetable cuttings, fruit, egg shells just to name a few. Wet waste accounts for up to 50% of all household waste and with the increasing pressure on our landfill sites we can now all make a difference and recycle this waste starting at home.
As part of your environment curriculum we would like to offer the school the opportunity to fundraise by marketing the Green Genie compost bin to the parents and your community. We have put together excellent pricing for the school at a discount rate for parents. The school will also earn a percentage of sales.
As part of the programme Green Genie will provide advertising material in the form of high gloss brochures to hand out to each child to take home preferably to be accompanied by a letter from the school explaining the objectives. We will also provide an A1 poster to advertise at the school and approx 30 A3 posters that you can display in community outlets providing an opportunity for all to participate.
